Thanks for letting me know. A sad day to see another old family-run second hand bookshop go, how many are left now? If any?

I have many, many happy memories of Carraig Books, catalogues and shop, and the occasional indulgence as a result. And many happy memories of Mr Day: endless knowledge, and never condescending. With the demise of a bookshop another light goes out. Joseph Leckey, Saintfield Antiques & Fine Books.

thank you for your response, Joseph. I will pass on your regards to Sean. Thank you for responding. Much appreciated.
That poem was published in The Irish Catholic today. There also have been features in Dublin Enquirer and I wrote a piece for Village Magazine, March issue. The Irish Times have promised something also but I await that action…all the best
